President Dan Weiss, an award-winning scholar and gifted speaker, gives lively presentations during Reunion Weekend, at alumni chapter events, and in the Alumni Travel Program. This summer, we’ll also have the opportunity to learn from President Weiss at Alumni Summer College. A leading authority on the art of medieval Europe during the Crusades, he will discuss the extraordinary artistic achievements of the period within the context of military, religious, and political events. In his second lecture, he’ll talk about a book he is writing on the Vietnam War and helicopter pilot Michael O’Donnell, a war hero and poet. Professors in art, history, psychology, and geology/environmental geosciences also will bring their areas of scholarship and teaching alive for alumni, parents, and friends of the College July 15-18. I can’t wait to get back to the classroom! Visit the program web site for registration and more details.

Sincerely,
Sherri Jones
Director of Alumni Affairs
